CREATIVE:
Jennifer Vee Whittet: Creative Director
As principle designer and owner, Jen brings a strong graphic design background including execution and conceptual skills to every project. She holds a BFA in graphic design from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, 1994. Her campaigns have encompassed corporate identity, direct mail, loyalty marketing and advertising.

Greg Gossel: Designer
Joining the Sassafrass team in 2005 as a designer with a fine art prospective and background. Greg brings an expressive sense of the arts to his clean design approach while at the same time not forgetting the important design criteria for each project. He holds a BFA in graphic design from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, 2005

Barron Whittet: Videographer, Producer, Director, Writer
As the resident film/video guy at Sassafrass, Barron handles a bevy of responsibilities - all in the service of creating compelling, emotionally impactive video.  From shooting, to editing, to directing, to writing, to field producing, the man has done it all, and still does it for all!

After graduating from Central College (Pella, Iowa) with a BA in Art,  Barron cut his teeth in television promotion, most notably as the regional Emmy Award winning Senior Producer at CBS' WCCO-TV in Minneapolis.  He then moved down the street to the production house Metropolitan Hodder Group, where he helmed projects for Allianz, Susan G Komen for The Cure, The Hazelden Foundation, as well as sitting down with alot of the "glittery people", producing "entertainment" pieces (promos, behind the scenes) for the likes of Lifetime Television, and ABC Television. He has also served as Director of Programming at Internet Broadcasting, the country's largest network of television station websites.  

On his own time, he's contributed to numerous productions including Martin Scorcese's Bob Dylan Biopic "No Direction Home".  Current "regular" clients include Target Corporation, Metropolitan Hodder Group, WCCO, and Internet Broadcasting.

Sassafrass now offers High Definition shooting capacity with our recently purchased Panasonic AG HVX-200 camera.




THE STUDIO:
Sassafrass Design is currently celebrating 15 years in business. Our portfolio ranges from identity branding and web design, special event design and media kit development.
