Editing continues at Sassafrass on the rock/doc "50 Winters Later" - a 6 camera HD concert film celebrating the lives and legacies (and the final concert) of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and the Big Bopper. Produced in conjunction with Terry Lickona of Austin City Limits, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum and The Surf Ballroom and Museum. Check it out!

TARGET CORPORATION
Sassafrass was contracted by Target Corporation to fly around the country (Miami, Brooklyn, Yorkville, Il and Garden Grove, CA) to direct and conduct interviews for snappy personality/bio pieces on 4 of the most heralded store team leads in the company. From surfing on Huntington Beach to standing under the Brooklyn Bridge to golfing in the cornfields of central Illinois to scoring wicked cuban food on South Beach - all within a few days. Crazy shoot schedule ended with a quick turn edit back at Sassafrass.

Were proud to be finishing the 9th edition of the Vadnias Heights Spring Newsletter.
MET HODDER
Sassafrass was hired by Met Hodder to write, direct and edit a teaser/trailer for a new animated series series coming to ABC Television. The trailer was designed to play in movie theaters across the country and was a mix of composited interviews with the show's creators, behind the scenes script readings and show clips. Sadly the show's since been axed but we're still giggling over the way it lovingly lampooned the eco-green movement. "We can't shop there ! They don't even have a mission statement !" Funny show.
